Before purchasing this facial cleanser, I had been battling with another face wash that I had been testing. I didn’t like that cleanser at all. It was composed of almost everything I avoid in a facial cleanser.
As a result, First Aid Beauty has been a dream come true! I love the emollient texture and the fact that my skin does not feel stripped or raw after using it. Furthermore, this cleanser actually does a pretty decent job of removing makeup. Mind you, I *do* use a makeup remover prior to using a facial cleanser, but this stuff is usually able to remove those stubborn leftover mascara and lipstick streaks. You know, the ones that when you wake up in the morning have officially turned you into a flesh eating zombie.
Plus, the actual formula looks and *feels* lush. Check it out, it’s as if someone crushed up pearls and gave me permission to be my boujiest self. Besides, it kept acne at bay and I can’t be mad about that.
Is this the end-all, be-all cleanser for you? Maybe. I prefer the Paula’s Choice Resist Optimal Results Hydrating Cleanser more, but hey, this could be the one and only for you!
