One night, I was feeling fancy, as you do.
Maybe not that fancy since I was wearing leggings, a hoodie, and llama socks, but I was heavily using my imagination here.
So I wanted to make something sophisticated.
And because I’m lame, I went to Martha Stewart because she has dishes that seem elegant but a super lazy person like me can make. You can see how fanciful my fanciness actually was that night.
Then I found it. The Persimmon and Brie Crostini. I’d never had a persimmon, but it sounded like something that would be served at a high-class diner. Brie is cheese and therefore will always win. Plus, a crostini, which means carbohydrates, and I adore those!
This is probably one of the easiest things you can make. The persimmon was amazingly sweet and went perfect with the brie. The only thing missing from my life when eating this was a glass of wine (Sigh, if I were fancy I would’ve had that on hand).
The best part? It’s the kind of dish you can make for a party and all your guests will be amazed at how great the food is and think your fabulous in the kitchen… When it only took you ten minutes to make. It can’t get any better than that.
If you fancy snacking on an elegant little appetizer that requires zero energy, this is SO the recipe for you.
Anything with brie I will eat! *_*
I have no argument against that! Brie is delicious!
Looks yum!
It was!
This looks like I should eat this with my pinky out!
That’s how I ate it. So elegant! Lol
Totally fancy but simple! Brie cheese is def one of my faves & I love persimmons. My grandpa would bite into them like apples, skin & all. 🙂 yum!
It was my first time having persimmon and I quite liked it! Especially paired with the Brie! Totally yummy!
