I know, I know, it’s almost September and I’m only now telling you about my favorite July things. I didn’t want to skip it though because I got the BEST bridal gift from my parents. It was so sweet, it made me sappy and I just DO NOT do sappy.

2. Something Old – Dated 1986, a lucky penny for your shoe
Yes, for real, a penny with my birth year to keep in my shoe for good luck. I loved the extra touch of having that specific year. It’s so thoughtful!
3. Something New – A ring of hearts just for you
Yes, they also bought me a gold bracelet made out of a chain of hearts to wear on my wedding day. And I will be wearing it. It’s too pretty and delicate to NOT wear!
4. Something Borrowed – A Rolling Stones pin from you-know-who
Anyone who has ever met my father knows that he lives and breathes everything done by The Rolling Stones. My favorite part? He reminded me that it was only “borrowed” and he expects it back!
5. Something Blue – And of course… WOO HOO!
This made me laugh, the garter is the WOO HOO part! It’s gorgeous too and will be a treat to wear!
