I’ve decided to do something revolutionary to my diet…

I’m going to reduce the amount of sugar I consume and (mostly) stop eating chips. Obviously, I’ve already foreseen that I’m going to need weekly cheat days. My willpower just isn’t that great.

My reduction of sugar is going to come from not eating any food that screams “SUGAR!” to me. Like, chocolate (cries), candy (tears!), ice cream (OMG, why am I doing this?!), and all the other goodies that sound so delicious and really should be eaten!

I decided my last hurrah with these sugary confections (is it a last hurrah if I have cheat days?) would be a terrifying ice cream clown candy sundae thing. It sounds delicious because there is candy and ice cream but the clown would scare me away from wanting to eat sugary things. Genius, yes?

Well, the clown was actually kind of adorable but no fear, my plan must have worked because that candy? It was awful! Who knew I’d become such a snob with my treats. What used to be a delight in my trick or treat bag is an absolute nightmare in my sundae!

Fast forward? I took out all the candy and ate the clown. No Regrets.
