This LipMix is BAE you guys. It gives this perfect pop of red that is to die for!

Mind you, its primary use is to be able to mix it with other lip products, HOWEVER, by itself it is stunning. It’s a bright juicy red that not only goes well with the summer vibes, but could also be pulled out during the more festive holiday season. Oh, and if you are someone that likes that popsicle lips look, this would do splendidly.

It’s texture is a mix between a liquid lipstick and a gloss. It’s on the creamier side and does not feel dehydrating in the least. Best of all, I used the tiniest amount to get my lips this color. And I mean tiny. Like the size of the head on a pin. Which means, this LipMix is going to last a looooong time and you know I love getting my money’s worth!

I will say, getting this has made me seriously want more of the LipMix colors if only so I can mix and match and create some handcrafted unique shades. You can mix it with your regular lipstick colors if you so choose, but the pigmentation and color range that the LipMix line offers looks a treat to play with.

Wearing LipMix in Red mixed with a little bit of NARS Dolce Vita

But honestly, I’m fine with wearing this on its own. As I said, when it comes to makeup, this is so going into the “Before Anything Else” category. I’m telling you, it’s love.

  • This colour is gorgeous! ♥ I think it’s the perfect summer red for a blonde.

    • I love it. I want to wear it ALL the time. It can be casual red or dress up red depending on how you do the rest of the face.

Either way, I feel like a total babe when I wear it! Ha!

  • It looks great on you!

  • MAC’s bullet lipsticks are still the best out there, I wish they would go cruelty-free. The formula of these sound awesome!

    • I agree, their lipsticks are great!

I like the LipMix because its like having waaaay more lip colors! They blend great with liquid lipsticks allowing me to really go to town with customizing lip colors. I mixed Too Faced’s melted marshmallow with it and the most gorgeous coral came out!

Agreed, MAC really should be heading towards cruelty free.

      • That sounds so fun, mixing your lippies & coming up with your own shades! I would be the happiest girl ever if MAC would pull out of China.

        • Mixing my own hippies is soooo up my alley! I’ve even made my own lipstick from scratch before! But mixing colors together is soo much easier! Lol

You and me both when it comes to MAC. I know it’s a growing concern and hopefully they’ll either pull out–or China will change it’s testing standards. I could hope right?

          • What?! That’s so cool you’ve made your own lipstick before. It does sound like a lot ot work though lol.

It would be awesome if one or the other happened but especially if China would just change their testing standards altogether!

          • Yes, I’ve made my own lipstick! It wasn’t the making it that was hard though–It was the cleaning up! That pigment can get EVERYWHERE.

Fingers crossed that China gives up their policy on testing on animals. It is such an unnecessary thing to do anyways!
