I’m never quite sure which products have been hyped and which have been sadly neglected. Which means I unfortunately have no idea how well known the Brush Guards are, but I do know I’ve invested in several boxes because they keep my brushes looking good despite my inability to properly take care of anything.
First off, my brushes have the awful habit of drying wonky after I’ve done the weekly (cough, monthly, cough) duty of cleaning my brushes. You know what I mean, splayed bristles, loss of shape, and crappy, crappy, crappiness (great descriptions, right?). The Brush Guard helps them keep their shapely figure so you can enjoy quality brush usage for that much longer.
Secondly, you can dry your brushes correctly, and yes, there is such a thing as drying your brushes correctly. If you’re anything like how I used to be, you’ve been drying your brushes by laying them flat which is fine if you want to mess up the shape of your brushes. Or, if you’re really bad, you’ve been drying them right side up which is a big no-no since a chain reaction of destruction will start. Water will run into the ferrule which will then cause some glue dissolution which will then cause premature shedding. It’s the makeup brush death cycle! Using the brush guard however, you can store them upside down so all the water runs out aaaaaand, you maintain that perfect brush shape. Can I get a hell yeah?
What this all means of course, is that your brushes will last longer. No more having to replace your manky and abused brushes after a few months. Or having to muddle through because you’re in denial that your makeup brushes are shedding faster than my cat when she decides to sit on my favorite pair of pants. I’m just saying, I think they are worth the investment.
Plus, they have the range at Ulta. Easy peezy.
Hell yeah!
That’s what I say!
