The Dermstore Sale

I know everyone has gone crazy with the Sephora sale, but I cared more about the 25% off that was happening at the Dermstore website. I congratulate myself on not turning the whole store upside down and crashing the website, because I dearly wanted EVERYTHING, but I held myself to five items. FIVE!

Paula’s Choice Skin Revealing Body Lotion 10% AHA – I have super dry itchy legs and I’m hoping this lotion will exfoliate, hydrate, and help in the removal of dead skin. I have a body brush that aids in these things but honestly? I canuse all the help I can get!

Slip Pure Silk Pillowcase – I got hella fancy when I bought this pillowcase. To be honest, I have silk pillowcases from Amazon buuuuut, I recently got some ultra comfy King sized pillows and therefore, I needed a king sized pillowcase. I took this opportunity to get the ultra luxe brand. We will see if this is worth the huge price increase compared to its competitors!

Jane Iredale PurePressed Eyeshadow Duo in Berries & Cream – I can’t believe I went for this, especially since I bought this product in “Oyster/Supernova” and was disappointed in the way it just seemed to fall apart. However, Oyster/Supernova was the original duo and then Jane Iredale released three more. I figured it wouldn’t hurt to give these duos one more try especially since the colors are sooo pretty. The eyeshadow made it through the mail without falling to pieces so I have high hopes that I’ll be able to use it without it crumbling to dust.

Lab Series Skincare for Men Razor Burn Relief Ultra – No, I did not buy this for the man in my life, I bought it for me. First off, men have the whole shaving department on lockdown. Their products are just superior to the women’s versions in my opinion. Secondly, there is no female version of razor burn relief that I know of. And yes, there are areas where razor irritation needs to be addressed like the arm pits and bikini area. Maybe that’s TMI but c’mon, there’s a MARKET out there for the female shaving world that is so not being tapped!

Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish in Misty Morning – Not pictured, OOPS! My bad! It’s a pretty grayish blue that I think will look lovely in the fall and winter. Looking forward to painting my nails with this!

DHC Face Wash Sample Packet – Hooray, a freebie to stick in my travel box where all samples reside until I pack it up and leave town.

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil Sample Packet – I love cleansing oils, so I will happily use this–when I’m traveling of course!

No worries, I didn’t abandon the Sephora sale entirely. I did buy a Bumble and Bumble styling cream and a Sephora Favorites set but Sephora screwed up my order and I got the wrong items. Le sigh, waiting is the hardest part when it comes to mail delivery, right?
