Okay, so the Empress did gain some redemption despite my previous underwhelming experience.
Check out this cake we took home.
You can’t screw up cake. Especially when it comes to this little slice of luxury.
I guess its technically called a torte, but it tastes like heaven squished itself into the chocolate ganache.
Apparently it takes two days to make. Two days of yummy chocolate and filling and gold sprayed decorating.
And you know what? TOTALLY WORTH IT.
Empress, your tea could’ve been better but your cake? Holy cats I want more!
