I bought myself a Breville pressure cooker which has officially become my pride and joy. It doubles as a slow cooker as well, and mind you, I was able to cook up the soup that’s going to get me through the winter. Period.
You can mock me for posting this. It’s something that I’m sure is basic and everybody can do it, BUT words cannot explain how excited I was that I was able to make my own vegetable stock using a recipe from those cook booklets that come with gadget you just ordered. Yes. You read that correctly. I actually used a recipe that was listed in the manual. #NoShame
I was able to use it in my butternut squash mac and cheese and I felt so much like Martha Stewart, that I wanted to call her up and tell her we were *twinning*. Luckily for Martha, I don’t have her digits, so she was spared some awkward, incomprehensible babble.
In the meantime, I’ve got my freezer stocked with homemade vegetable stock!
Yum! Maybe I need to purchase my own Breville pressure cooker! 😉

I’m not going to lie, it’s my favorite kitchen appliance by far.
Doesn’t it taste better when you know you made it yourself!
There is so much pride in it! 😄
That is adult goals right there! A pressure cooker!! I don’t have one of those but I do have a slow cooker, and until I got it I didn’t realise how much I actually needed it!! Getting right into this adulting thing!!😁xxx
Yesss! I’m *almost* grown up! Ha!
Luckily mine doubles as a slow cooker! 2-in-1! I knew what I was shopping for!
It’s quickly becoming my most invaluable kitchen appliance!
