I’ll be honest. My man and I are snobs when it comes to where we stay. We like boutique hotels. Places with character. Places where you feel a bit fancier than you normally would.

So I bet you’re wondering why the hell we stayed at the Quality Inn and Suites.

Check out the refrigerator AND microwave. Above and beyond!

Welllll, there’s a LIMIT to how much we are willing to spend and I am sorry, but hotels in Rehoboth Beach are ridiculous. No way in hell am I spending $400-$500 for one night’s stay. Are you kidding me? It’s not like it’s the Ritz in the middle of New York City. It’s a beach town that most people have never heard of. Forgettaboutit.

So the Quality Inn and Suites was obviously going to get our business, cashing in at well below $200. We figured on staying in the hotel and thinking “meh” afterwards. SO NOT THE CASE.

So much storage space and coffee to boot!

We adored this hotel. And by adore, we mean that we will happily book ourselves a Quality Inn and Suites room again with no hesitation. They had EVERYTHING. Far better than the pricier digs we stayed at in the past. The only thing they fell short on was the bed linens which you could tell were definitely coarser than what you might find elsewhere but you know what? I STILL SLEPT JUST FINE.

For once, the bathrooms had a FAN (take that Kimpton!) and proper doors and nice additions to the room like a microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot and the works. PLUS, it had a separate sitting area so I could banish my beloved when we got sick of each other.

The bathrooms are clean and have a FAN thank god!

We also availed ourselves of the swimming pool which we had mostly to ourselves. They also had a laundry facility so you could clean those clothes that are getting wicked gross after being on the road for over a week (it happens!).

And being that I adore food far beyond reckoning, the free breakfast was also an utter delight. Don’t be mistaken either, this was good stuff! A pancake station, bacon, sausage, eggs, a whole mess of toppings to go along with it, a cereal bar, fresh fruit and a refrigerator full of things like yogurt, milk and orange juice. I went back for seconds. #NoApologies

Separate sitting area!

I mean, for being on the budget friendly side, it sure felt like we were living like kings. Either that or I am waaaay easier to please than I thought.

  • Same, myself and Luke are snobby, but then turn our noses up at seriously over priced places!
And I just wanted to say, for some reason it keeps saying I’ve unfollowed your blog, then I’m following it again!🤦🏻‍♀️ Not sure what’s going on today xxx

    • Lolz, it’s true. We have a limit to how snobby we will be!

Oh my, WordPress has been a jerk to me. I’ve had people say they can’t follow my blog, they’re not getting updates, etc. I feel like the more I mess with it the worse it gets!

  • This place is lovely!

About following your blog – it was back in my reader the other day – not sure how and why, but I’m not complaining. And the LIKE buttons have also returned! You may have noticed me going on a liking spree of your older posts the other day. Oops!

And here’s the link for people to follow you via wordpress:
