I’d like to bring “Blogs and Vlogs” back to once again highlight some of my fave people to check out on the interwebs. Although a full 50% of those highlighted have been women of color, unfortunately none of them have been black. I’d like to correct this omission and reveal two who have had me addicted to their blogs for the last year.
BASE – aka Beauty and Style Edit
Although this site was built for and caters to women of color, I’ve been enjoying it for months. I’ve particularly enjoyed their recent series in which they ask various women on what they have done during quarantine in an effort to give readers ideas on what we can read/watch/take care of ourselves/connect/etc. They have beauty bits as well. It is a thoroughly engaging and has tons of well written articles.
I am a huge fan of her blog and her instagram. Take just one look at her photos and you too will be dying to know what she uses to make her skin look so naturally flawless. Bonus, she is super nice. She may have a lot of followers but she does take time to respond to everyone and you gotta love that!
As if you need it….
