Five parts of Strength and Sculpt? I think this will probably be my last post dedicated to Strength and Sculpt despite how entertaining my workout fails are!

Anyways, this week someone’s husband decided to join the group. They had big bulky arms with veins popping out. He brought his uber-heavy weights from home. My boyfriend looked at me and we agreed: This guy had no idea what was coming. And honestly? I had no idea that this guy would fail so hard.

You know what he did? Within the first five minutes, he was groaning and moaning worse than I EVER did. After fifteen minutes, he was lying on the ground rolling around. Ten minutes later he ran out of the classroom. He came back fifteen minutes later and asked how we all weren’t vomiting our brains out. If ANY of this sounds familiar, it’s because I was totally doing this guy’s song and dance in my first Barre class, but believe it or not, I WAS WAY LESS DRAMATIC.

So, I’m basically ending my series talking about this guy, who totally looked like Mr. Clean, dying on his yoga mat. I figure, hell, if these classes took down a bulky guy like that, then I’m doing fan-freaking-tastic! And as my significant other said, “I’m feeling waaaaaay better about my first class now!”

  • hahahaha! I can’t even imagine how the workouts must be, they sound so hard! But I bet seeing this guy fail so hard was entertaining hahaha!

  • Ha! I don’t mean to be rude but… well… most guys at my husband’s gym are like this. My husband says they have show muscles. Oops! #noshade

    But you see how amazing you’re doing! None of these torture classes can get you down.

    • 🤣show muscles! I think that’s what they might have been! 🤣

      I think that was the best part, seeing this guy reminded me how far I’ve come!
